One Year Gap:Boxing Day
There’s a similarity regarding this post and my previous post, it’s about winter holidays and new year. The difference is that, the gap between these two posts is about a year. Just an indication of how bad I am at maintaining a blogger’s attitude.
Yesterday was Boxing Day here in the UK. Lucky enough it was Sunday, so I didn’t need to get up early since most of the shops opened at 12pm because based on UK’s Sunday Trading Act, opening times for larger stores is restricted to a maximum of 6 hours. People tend to have their favourite places to go during Boxing Day, Oxford Street, Westfields, High Street Kensington, Brent Cross, Bicester Village, you name it. For me, Westfields is a pretty obvious choice because it’s an indoor shopping centre which is quite close to my flat. Thousands of thousands of thousands of people were there, searching for the best deals that they could get in stores. Guess what, I ended up with a t-shirt, a pair of jeans and a jacket although my main aim was to get a pair of decent shoes!
