Here are some good news and bad news for the past two days.
The good news is, my application for JPA scholarship is accepted, and I’ll be
assessed on April 5th, at Akademi Pengajian Islam Nilam Puri, Kota
Bharu. I have to get in there early, as the interview will start at 8 am,
according to the slip. Many of my friends got it too- Ayen will be in POLISAS Kuantan;
Pidah, Amir, Izzi, To-G, Poje, Zakwan will be in KUSTEM, and Hazim will be with
me. Those are only some of them, I’m sure there are more my friends who will be
assessed. Right now, I’m preparing for the interview; re-open my notes and
dictionary haha. I must gather the points again, prepare to be asked a variety
of questions, prepare to ask questions, ready the required documents and so on.

And the bad news is, I am suffering a bad toothache!! The pain put me in excessive
stress madness and is killing me! The most worrying thing is, if the pain lasts
until the interview day (this Wed), OH MY GOD!! I can’t talk even a word…it is
totally hurts. My mood is gone, and I’m like in a middle of nowhere, outspoken!
Whatever does, i hope that it is only my imagination and never happened haha.

One more thing, i would like to wish ’selamat pengantin baru’ to my dear friend..intan. Wish u will always happy with your husband. Beyond expectations.

Seems that recently i can’t focus on my posts..mostly because i’m running out of idea what to write in here. Medical applicants for JPA scholarships who were first sort listed will be in general hospitals to do a scary test..facing the real life of being a doctor. HEEEHEHEHE. Blood, needles, virus, corpse, and everything sucks were there. Hope that Amir CD will complete the challenge successfully..haha. He got the ‘invitation’ mail from JPA two days ago. Maybe he will be in Hospital Kuala Terengganu @ HUSM, Kubang Kerian starting from tomorrow..

Jolly farewell – The Star Monday, 27th March 2005

BOLLYWOOD came to the Melbourne Cricket Ground yesterday when the hosts
of the 2010 New Delhi Commonwealth Games staged a spectacular to mark
the end of the sporting festival in Australia. Not to be outdone, the Australians sent in 1,000 Dame Edna Everages
waving gladioli as they entered the stadium in massed ranks and
rearranged themselves to form a giant pair of spectacles. The ceremony climaxed with a huge fireworks display which organisers
described as a “thank you” to the sports-mad city of 3.6 million for
their enthusiastic support of the 71-nation games.
Commonwealth Games president Mike Fennell told a global television
audience estimated at 1.5 billion that the 18th Commonwealth Games had
been an outstanding success.

“You have achieved a level of success that has set new
standards for the Commonwealth Games,” he said as the 80,000-strong MCG
crowd roared its approval.

A children’s choir sang an Aboriginal farewell song as the Commonwealth
Games Federation flag was lowered and handed to New Delhi chief
minister Sheila Dikshit.

That was the cue for a 10-minute Indian showcase
featuring Bollywood stars including former Miss World Aishwarya Rai,
heartthrob Saif Ali Khan and screen siren Rani Kukherjee.
Famous Indian landmarks like the Taj Mahal and Red Fort were depicted to an accompaniment of bhangra music before a giant three-tiered golden chariot entered the stadium.
On board a host of Indian celebrities waved to the crowd including
cricketing greats Sunil Gavaskar, returning to the ground where he
scored a Test century in 1977-78, and Kapil Dev, who snared five-wicket
hauls at the ground in 1985 and 1992.
Dancers dressed in vivid costumes depicting elephants, peacocks and butterflies the demonstrated the traditional Indian kathakalis dance. Fireworks in the white, green and saffron of the Indian flag erupted
from the roof of the MCG as the dancers formed the words “See You,
Delhi 2010”. The celebrations were not yet over for India, as sharpshooter Samaresh
Jung was named Outstanding Athlete of the Games after claiming five
gold medals on the firing range. Prince Edward formally declared the Games closed in front of
dignitaries including British Prime Minister Tony Blair before Dame
Edna appeared on the stadium’s big screens to give the ceremony a final
flourish in a pre-recorded address.

“Melbourne, you’re the envy of the world,” she sang as a ring of fireworks surrounded the MCG. – AFP

::brand new iBook

Posted in M.C.B.O.D.C.K Originals on 26 March 2006 by afabakar

My friend got an iBook..a present from his daddy for his excellent result in SPM. He’s not a techno-savvy.. even computers are not really his interest but forsure he was is a great eager anticipation. The iBook is bundled with Mac OS 10.3 (Panther) but 10.4 version (Tiger) was already released… i checked at apple’s website. Then he asked me..what to do with his iBook..haha..I’ve never used it before lah! But i still know a lil bit about it..it has iTunes. iChat, Safari, Quicktime and other softwares. Compared to other laptops, it seems that iBook only have few ports, such as Firewire (IEEE-1386), USB, LAN, modem, headphone jack and its special video port. It doesn’t need PCMCIA slots, serial ports, parallel ports etc. Just a simle one, simple to use. Still with built-in Bluetooth and wireless fidelity aka WiFi.

Ermm.. anyway, the present made him very happy, like he’s the happiest guy in the world. He asked me many things..how to use the iChat, how to subscribe Streamyx, how to build a website, how is this, how is that. Haha..i can’t really answer all his questions, but he wished that i could teach him on how to make a website since years ago. The simple one is not a big problem for me, but he asked the advanced one..using php, database and so on. That wish is never granted haha.  I’ll teach u soon okey.

At 2 pm, i rode my bike to the driving school, after completing an hour driving the Kancil, i unexpectedly met my friend..Pok Loh @ Ha @ Hasbullah. Had a chat with him..almost two hours. Mostly about our friends, scholarships, ex-school. The most important thing is, he was still shorter than me..as in SKTM 6 years ago..ahakz! Juz kidding. Previously, he worked as a concert crew in KL.. he followed many artists, such as Mawi world! and Siti Nurhaliza around malaysia as an audio/wiring/something like that crew. (that’s what he told me) Gosh, it’s very cool+fun+enjoying beb! He’s now staying at home and released the job. Anyway, good luck in whatever u do!

The ceremony was held yesterday at Singapore..malaysian catched it on Channel 4 Astro Ria and ERA Rentak Muzik Terkini. Organized by MediaCorp Radio’s Ria 89.7FM and Warna 94.2 FM, APM2006 took place at Max Pavilion, Singapore Expo. The event showcased an amazing repertoire of musical performances by the hottest and coolest stars in Malay music industry.
Thank goodness there’s an effort to enhance our music industry, making sure that it will glimmer soon at the top of the world. Anyway, i’m very proud to be malaysian, when Siti Nurhaliza won the best female artist. She had an enourmous number of crowd, almost everyone  shouted, screamed when her name was announced.  She had done well in our music industry, since her popularity blooms in  late-90’s.  I’m just feel  pleased when she took the trophy and received a  big applause from the audience..from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.  Frankly, i’m not a loyal fan of her but sometimes i’d really enjoyed her songs. One more thing, she can sing live on stage without  having too much difficulties on her voice..compared to most of the singers, when they goes live, there must be froggy here..froggy there..(urm…new term for sumbang – froggy haha)..The pitch sometimes goes sharp, flat, too harsh etc..etc.. but i don’t see it when it comes to Siti.  Huhu..i’m too much praising for CT..okies..let’s talk about other things. Loloq received the special award.. and he deserved it. As a superb lyricst, he polished up many popular singers through his writings..it’s really a good effort to lighten up the malaysian music environment. His languages are nice, with full meanings and feelings. eg- Nur Nilam Sari(AWIE), Awan Yang Terpilu(NING BAIZURA), Kala Hujan (ZAMANI) and also Aduh Saliha (WORLD!) and the list goes on. okes..got to go now.. cHow!

::post them all

Posted in M.C.B.O.D.C.K Originals on 22 March 2006 by afabakar

so so so many forms to fill..and also post! Even the applicaion form is online, but some of them must be downloaded, printed and posted manually. For example-Yayasan TNB, Khazanah, PNB, UEM Group- it’s not 100% fully online service, just online for downloading forms (save $$$-don’t have to buy the forms). BUt for Yayasan Telekom Malaysia, (overseas scholar) i had to buy the OMR form at MARANG-about 150km from my aLorLintanG or post own-addressed envelope to YTM. The second way is taking too much time, since the dateline is two weeks after 13rd March (NEXT WEEK). So, buying the form is a wiser way for me. This evening, i had posted- YTM, UEM, PNB, TNB. And also yayasan terengganu- annual awards for excellent UPSR, PMR and SPM stuents. Scholarships are limited, and bright students are increasing nowadays. I have to grab every chance and opportunities..if not, i’m not going anywhere lah.
Right now, there’s only three in my house-Me, Abah and Syafiq. My mom? Went to Port Dickson for three days, since yesterday. It’s a regular basis for her, having meeting everywhere around malaysia. Next month – Kota Bharu. May – Sabah. Last year, she attended meetings everywhere almost every month. Being a headmistress in a ‘Special School’ (SK Pendidikan Khas Besut, Alor Lintang) is a fun job, yet too busy. She is even busier than my father, who is also a headmaster in a primary school (SK Pelagat, Jerteh). But, she seems to like her job……it’s fine with her.
This morning, nizam and syamil went to my mansion. Nizam wanted me to help him completing his online form-to be a teacher i guess. but, the server is too busy, i couldn’t do it this morning. Maybe  at 3 o’clock (am)..the users are decreasing..and the problem is solved. Syamil asked for new songs..and transfer them to his 6600. 6600’s bluetooth is not the latest one, and using it to transfer mp3 from my laptop is very slow. Compared with my brother’s 3G Samsung phone, which is using a latest version of bluetooth, transferring files is not a big problem. So, transferring using the RS-MMC is faster for 6600…i just put it in my laptop’s build-in card reader slot…and voila!- just take secods to transfer the songs. Here are some pics…taken using different camera phones-
nokia 6600 – better quality, but still with small resolution
Laptop

sonyericsson K300i – distorted, but still average

I’d finished my vacation..heheh.. but now, more forms are pending..got to fill them up before the datelines. Luckily nowadays more online forms are provided, it seems not too much problem, compared with the manual one. Plus, online forms are free..fast and easy. Before that, congrates to my friends- Ayen, Mat Z, Amir, Sharazul, Zatie, Laili, Wani, Syamil, Nizam, etc. for their flying colours. Hope that we can pursure our studies better after this okey. Got to go now,i  wanna watch tv. CHow!

Tomorrow, i will not be in Alor Lintang anymore…a long journey is waiting for me. All of us-dad, mom and syafiq + tok will go to johore…visiting my grandma and grandpa there. So, no more posts for this several days. Actually i’ve got flu right now…always sneezing + wetly nose! From my experience, if i got flu, maybe i’ll recover about a week! THere’s something wrong with my antibody, i thought. just ignore it. I’m not having a good mood to write right now…still frustrated with my result. But it’s life, what goes around comes around, what goes up must come down. I really have to admit it. THinking again, i’m still quite lucky to get 10 A’s..although it’s not my target. I missed one shot and it keeps haunting my mind. So, what i’m going to do now? ACCEPT IT!  By the way, for the third time, my sis won WAYANG KITA contest….now she got two complimentary tickets to watch Nanny McPhee. Hmmm… how did she do that? Hahha…

lalalalalalala…lalalalalala…i’m not feeling well

Urrm.. my streamyx account was cut temporarily..i’m just using tmnet 1515, very-very slow haha. Two days with no posts, and here i would like to share my spm result. Actually, i’m not too happy with it, but still happy. I got 9 1A’s and 1 2A…warrghhh!! English for science and technology doesn’t really make problems to me last year.. but when it came to the real spm exam, the format is totally different from what i’ve learnt. When i received the EST paper (it’s on the last day of SPM), OMG!!! I was totally shocked and nervous..slightly different from the previous year’s paper. hahha…i’m keep blaming the EST paper…YUP! Most of my friends got the same result like me….Ayen, Amir CD, Mat Z, etc..etc.. they only got A2 for EST paper. The only person who got A1 is…of course Albert EinsPidah.. hahaha.. Actually i got nothing to write right now, i’m busy filling the forms…duplicate the certificates.. go here..go there.. So, till we meet again..okies!
